Pretty steep climb up to la Cumbrecilla, then a lovely stroll through the forest and down to Afur. Spectacular gorge hike to the beach. Then a shorter steep climb to the winding coastal path (one bit with a pretty steep drop).
Make sure to pop into the bar in Afur and talk to the 85+ year old owner; he’s a character.
Last little bit of the hike goes through a cute wine-growing hamlet.
Loop trail from Iglesia Nuestra Señora de las Nieves passing through:
- Ermita de San Pedro (3.9 km)
- Charco de la Pasada (5.6 km)
- Playa de Tamadite (5.9 km)
- El Chorro (8.6 km)
