A beautiful loop that passes through baskinta, chakhroub, wedi el deleb to the east side.
Find good and safe place to park the car on the asphalt road and directly start going down on the dirt road by following the LMT/BLT trail. On the way there is many fountains and small rivers that I tried to include them all.
The hike will mostly be on dirt road that will leads you to Saydet el Khelle. A quick rest there is a good idea before starting the way up.
The ascent is an average of 300M in less than 2kms and needs a good fitness level especially in hot weather. We took little shortcut and walked near a small canal used for planting that led us finally to the dirt road again.
We took a quick rest in a shadowy place and took the road back nearly 6 KMs to the start point.
This road parallel to the highway is a mix of dirt and asphalt mostly straight in elevation.
We did a quick visit to Mikhaeil Nouaime Monument before reaching back to the car.
In general a moderate hike, we did in the afternoon and took us approximately 5 hours overall and 4 hours moving time.
Do your duty to keep nature a beauty and always be kind to everything that lives :)
