일정 설명
The hiking expedition was made up of 10 seasoned hikers.
The hike started from Laqlooq and made its way next to Saydet El Qarn church and into the rocky cliffs facing the church. The trail is well marked trail among the rock-hanging cliffs overlooking the Laqlooq ponds and the sleepy towns of mount Lebanon. We climbed and descended many hills until we reached the newly renovated Aaqoora cross overlooking the town. We took a brief break at the cross then we took a left turn towards the highlands inland where there is nothing but snow beaten rocks with many grooves formations that is so beautiful to look at. The trail took us to a nice rock and Turkish oak oasis where we had our lunch and a short break. After the break we continued our hike back passing by the rocks of "lovers tiff" (Two rocks resembling two angry lovers turning their back against each other" and more rock formations, The last leg on our trip was Saydet Al Qarn church and its stairs reach the horn (highest point of the church's hill) and back to our cars.
A great breezy weather (low twenties) and clear skies made it a perfect day.
